Customer Needs and Challenges:

The core challenge lies in achieving stable support throughout the entire stroke, ensuring rotational accuracy of the large-diameter tube, and obtaining a smooth, stress-free cut surface.

We designed a dedicated CO2 laser cutting system for the customer. Key customization points include:

• 1. Structural Reinforcement and Stroke Extension: Customized extended machine tool structure and guide rail system to ensure processing accuracy and stability over a stroke exceeding 3000mm.
• 2. Large Diameter Adaptive Chuck: A specially designed adjustable chuck head can stably clamp pipes up to 300mm in diameter, ensuring smooth rotation and uniform cut seams.
• 3. Optical and Control System Adjustment: Optimized laser path and focus control based on pipe size and cutting process, working in conjunction with the motion system for optimal cutting results.

This customized system enables customers to:

• Perform continuous cutting of acrylic pipes up to 3000mm in length in a single clamping operation, avoiding seam marks and errors associated with segmented processing.
• Ensure the perpendicularity and smoothness of the cut cross-section of large-diameter pipes, meeting the assembly or appearance requirements of subsequent products.
